Membership in the Finn-Brit Players (FBP) gives you the satisfaction of helping to support our activities, either as an active participant or an audience member. Our working language is English, and our events are mainly targeted at adults.
TAKING PART – DO I NEED TO JOIN?
You must be a fully paid-up member to take part in a production. Non-members may audition, but will have to become members before joining the production. Non-members are welcome to participate in open FBP events, such as play readings and other social events, but may sometimes be required to pay a fee.
DISCOUNTS
Members (who have paid their fees for the current year) will usually get a 20% discount on FBP activities with a fee. For events, such as workshops and social events, this discount is personal. For shows, you may also buy a reasonable number of tickets for family members or friends to either accompany you to the theatre or watch you perform.
MEMBERS’ NEWS
Paid-up members will receive a members-only newsletter with advance information about upcoming auditions and productions. You can also join the closed Facebook group Finn-Brit Players Members Only.

MEMBERSHIP FEES
The annual membership fees for 2026 are 50.00€ for Standard Membership and 25.00€ for Concession Membership. If you are in the position to be generous, you can pay 70.00€ for Supporting Standard Membership, 35.00€ for Supporting Concession Membership, or your desired sum. Concession membership is available to those who are full-time students, retired, doing military or civil service, or unemployed.
MEMBERSHIP YEAR
The membership year is the twelve-month period between AGMs (currently February 2026– February 2027). Full payment is due regardless of the time remaining in the current membership year when you join or renew your membership.
MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS
If you do not pay your fees for the membership year by 31 March, this will be taken as an intention to resign your membership and you will be removed from the list of members. You can always rejoin later.
MEMBERSHIP PAYMENTS
Click here to visit our Holvi store and buy the membership that is relevant to you. Please include the following details: your full name, email address, postal address, and telephone number.
MEMBERSHIP NUMBER
You will need this for claiming FBP discounts in our Holvi store. Members will receive their membership number by email once their payment has been manually processed. (This may take a few days.)
